Technology for Tourism and Hospitality Industry

This course provides a solid grounding in hospitality technology and the management of information systems. It explains how computer applications are used in all hospitality functional areas, including reservations, rooms, food and beverage, sales and catering, and accounting. Students will learn the basics of purchasing, implementing, maintaining, and managing today's information systems. This course also explores system and security maintenance, and technology positions in the hospitality industry.
